Inpatient rehabilitation is a planned program consisting of therapies designed to improve a patient's motor skills, communication skills, cognitive skills (understanding) and other interactive abilities. The St. Joseph Rehabilitation Center provides intensive treatment for patients with conditions such as brain injury, stroke, and post-spinal surgery. Comprehensive therapies include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, neuropsychology, psychology and therapeutic recreation. The rehabilitation team works together to implement the individualized rehabilitation program for each patient. |
