Dr. White joined the Texas Brain and Spine Institute in 2008.  He practices general neurosurgery as well as endovascular neurosurgery. He completed both a neurosurgical training program and endovascular fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. While at the Mayo Clinic, Dr. White served as Assistant Professor in the department of Physiology and Biomedical Engineering.

Dr. White earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Political Science at Birmingham-Southern College. He then attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham where he received his M.D. degree and Ph.D. degree in Physiology and Biophysics.  He has also completed a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Finance.

In addition to his neurosurgical practice, Dr. White enjoys the educational and research opportunities afforded by his affiliation with the Texas A&M Health Science Center.  He is a member of several state, regional, and national neurosurgical and medical organizations where he serves on various Boards and leadership committees.  His greatest passion is his family which includes his wife and 4 children.

Neurosurgical Therapy: Aneurysms; vascular malformations; carotid artery disease; intracranial hemorrhage; brain tumors; acoustic neuromas; trigeminal neuralgia; cervical and lumbar stenosis; cervical and lumbar disc disease; traumatic brain injury; hydrocephalus.

Endovascular Therapy: Coiling of aneurysms; carotid and vertebral artery angioplasty and stenting; intracranial angioplasty and stenting; particle and liquid embolization of tumors, vascular malformations, and epistaxis; ischemic stroke therapy.
